I'd rather eat more disney food, but with out the weight gain.

Alright, I confess, I did HORRIBLY at policing myself at Disney World. They just made it so hard with all that fantastic food they gave us!  Breakfasts of quiche, croissants, sausage, etc. etc.  Lunches of italian comfort food, snacks of antipasti and cheeses.  Dinners of burgers, bbq, and hot dogs.  Not to mention the cheesecake, the adult "lemonade" and other goodies.

It was all really, really good.

And I really, really enjoyed eating it.

The upside, was all that walking.  Walking, walking, walking.

So I'm back now, hopping back on this wagon.  I gained a pound or two from the trip, but that's okay with me.  Tomorrow I start all the new exercises I recorded while I was gone, and attempting to get my gruve to green everyday (along with Jen and Trayce.)

The countdown to Fitbloggin' begins!  I'm racing to lose more to look even better when I get to meet so many of you! Woot!

  1. I wasn't at Disney, but I was on vacation w/ my family last week and found a few unhealthy things sneak their way into my mouth too. Cheers to losing those few extra pounds this week that we both gained last week.

I know you can do it!

  2. A pound or two isn't much. Last year, I gained 5 pounds from a week at Disney World. This year, I only gained half a pound. All that walking helps burn off the calories. Now if only Disney would pay me to walk around their parks, ride their rides and eat in their restaurants, I'd be happy. ;-)

  4. The Disney Moms event sounded great, my only question is why couldn't they have provided you all with healthier food options? I am glad you enjoyed yourself and what you ate. I am also happy that fitbloggin is on your horizon and all the goals with your health and fitness that you have attached to it!

  11. You have such a great attitude about the Disney food experience and you're just jumping back on the wagon, as you say. That is such a positive way to think! Good luck with your new exercises this week!

  12. Who wouldn't want to eat when you're on vacation, especially at Disney? I'll be pigging out if I'm the one who's there. Seriously. But you did a lot of walking, so great job! And now that you're back, you are also acknowledging that you're back to your healthy routine. That's what matters. Way to go, girl! --- @ImAHotMom
