I'd rather be mingling 4/5

Monday Mingle time!  You would think that since I'm kid-less for this one, I could have ... oh, I don't know... brushed my hair.  Put on makeup.  Turned on another light.  Not rambled on.  Ah, well, at least I got it done.  And with props, no less!
Thanks for stopping by, minglers.

OH, and CONGRATULATIONS to Kristen on your marriage, and to Karie on your Anniversary! :D

  2. love how you just "tossed" katie aside - poor kitty.
i don't remember your sniffles at all! (maybe it was because i was more concentrated on my 6 year old crawling behind the pulpit when he was supposed to be standing with the men!) Is there a video of your wedding??

  3. Actually it was your Dad who said, "Get rid of the tongue thing or I'm not paying for the wedding!" Enjoy the quiet while you got it.....

  4. I'm so glad you got your mingle up! I've missed your face. :D
My unHusband and I both have our tongues pierced.
I think the tongue hurt less than any of the other piercings I have or have had.
Health Care is a basic human right, and as a Canadian, my heart aches for people who can't afford help to be healthy.
    It's a travesty.
    What a great answer!

You guys are all turning ten! That's great!
    :D

  6. Home alone? Oh my. I don't even know what that means.

I giggled that your mom made you take out your tongue ring. LOL

    Your cat is super cute!

Ave Maria is a beautiful song. I would get choked up with that one at my wedding. I would be sniffling too. :)

I am following you now. Have a great week!!!

  7. I'm pretty sure I haven't been home alone in the evening for three years or so. Your windows are beautiful.

Being a Canadian, I am so grateful for our universal health care. Yes, we do have problems but at least everyone can get the care they need.

I like your wedding pic. From what I could see of the dress it looked very princessy. I hope you felt like one too.

  10. Hola Mandy!

No kids! That was way cool of hubby. Is it alright if he gives my dh a call on how to do this every once in awhile :)

I'm still gawking at that tongue ring! No way I'd do that. Did it hurt? *shivvies*

That just break my heart about these people who are sick with such a major illness and find it hard to find the finances to pay for their health.

10 years! Wow! That is fantastic! Well I'm chasing you four years away :)
That is such a cute photo of you both! I didn't get my dance.
    I love your story :)

Good to see you again beautiful.

    Have a fabulous weekend!

  11. Thanks for the encouragement! My mom would freak if I ever got a tattoo or any more piercings. Mom's are funny. Ouch to the tongue piercing. I always wondered if that hurt much.
